Open Journal of Radiology and Medical Imaging (ISSN: 2583-1534) is an international peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to presenting the latest advancements in medical imaging. The Journal is interested in presenting a wide range of imaging topics of interest to the medical community. These would include imaging developments: 1) for diagnosis of disease and 2) for guiding and/or evaluating a therapeutic treatment. The journal is also interested in presenting research articles of general interest to the imaging community, for example: image acquisition, processing, multimodality image registration and segmentation. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of radiology.
Radiology and Medical Imaging is a stream of medical specialty that specifically uses the imaging technology for diagnosing and treating diseases that occur in the body. Radiology primarily focuses on the techniques like ultrasound, X-ray radiography, nuclear medicine, tomography, magnetic resonance, positron emission tomography for treating of the various diseases in the human body. Medical imaging works very effectively with the body's internal structures hidden under the skin and bones.
