Biography :
She holds a PhD in Sciences (Experimental Pathophysiology) from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (2004), a Master's Degree in Dentistry with an emphasis on Oral Pathology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1997), Specialization in Cell Biology from Escola Paulista de Medicina (2003), Specialization in TMD and Orofacial Pain by the Federal Council of Dentistry (2004) and Graduation in Dentistry by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1989). She is currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, responsible for the discipline of TMD and Orofacial Pain. Coordinates extension projects in the area of TMD and Orofacial Pain and participates in research in this area as well. He coordinated the creation of the pedagogical project of the Speech Therapy Course at UFRGS, in Dentistry. Develops research and extension work with the Speech Therapy Course. Has experience in Dentistry, with an emphasis on TMD and Orofacial Pain, acting mainly on the following themes: Bruxism, Diagnosis and treatment of orofacial pain, diagnosis of temporomandibular pathologies by magnetic resonance and oral motricity.
