Biography :

Esmail Doustkhah was born in Maragheh, Iran. He received his B.Sc. from Urmia University and M.Sc. from Chemistry and Chemical Research Center of Iran (CCERCI) under the supervision of Prof. M. S. Abaee. Then, he got his Ph.D. from Urmia University in 2017. In 2016, he was awarded the talented students prize from National Elite Foundation of Iran and immediately afterwards, awarded the scholarship of visiting research in National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Japan. His visiting research was conducted by Prof. Y. Yamauchi and Prof. Y. Ide in the area of silicate nanosheets for (photo)catalysis. He was also elected as the toppest student in 2016 in his university. Currently, he is post-doctoral researcher in area of 2D layered silicates. He has co-authored more than 50 international papers, books, and chapters around layered silicates, hybrid mesoporous, magnetic, PMO, and graphene-based catalysts. His current research interests include synthesis of organosiloxanes, photocatalysis, nanoporous materials, and layered silicate.
