Biography :
Dr. Dipankar Pal is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Indian Institute of Petroleum & Energy. His research is situated in the field of surface engineering, membrane separation processes and two-phase flow. He received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in 2018. He was awarded Collaborative Research Project (Title: Development of Antifouling Membranes using Low Temperature Plasma) under TEQIP III (Govt. of India and World bank funded); Amount: Rs. 300000/-, (11th May 2019, Reff. No.: ASTU/TEQIP-III/CR/2019/3851). He was also awarded CRS project award as a PI (Govt. of India and NPIU); Amount: Rs. 1800000/-. (18th June 2019, Reff. No.: CRS/ID: 1-573690307). Dr. Pal has published 14 research papers mostly in surface modification of polymeric membranes in various high impact international journals and conference proceedings. He is an active board member, reviewer, and editor for several international journals. He has seven years of experience in teaching and research.
