Biography :

Sevket Balta has completed his MD from Akdeniz University and postdoctoral studies from Gulhane Medical Faculty, School of Medicine. He is a specialist of Cardiology. He works Hayat Hospital right now. He has about 500 entries on PubMed and 3187 citations listed in the ISI index, Core Collection (H-factor = 28) (October 2018). He has been serving as an editorial board member of some journals. Also, He has acted as referee about 50 journals. He was awarded the best young cardiologist in 2016 by Turkish Cardiology Society. His research and clinical work focus on inflammatory diseases, inflammatory markers, hypertension and atherosclerosis.
