Biography :

He get his B.Sc. in Agriculture, Plant Protection from Cairo University, Egypt in 1968.

He attended M.Sc. Technology of Crop Protection in 1977,  and completed his PhD in Plant Nematology at Reading University, UK in 1982.

He performed the following jobs:

Project Manager of Greenhouses Crops at ASTRA Farms, Saudi Arabia 1983 to 1986.

Crop Protection Training Officer at the FAO in Saudi Arabia during the period 1987 to 1992.

Research & Labs Dept. Manager at TADCO, Saudi Arabia until 2013 where he worked for a period of twenty years.

Research activities:  Covered the areas of Insect Pests & Diseases of Field Crops, Vegetables and Fruit trees, Weed Control, Certified Wheat Seeds, Olives and Olive Oil and Stone Fruits Crops.

Research Interest :

Field & Vegetable Crops Management, IPM & Crop Protection, Control of Plant Nematodes
