Biography :
I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at North Carolina State University. In my Ph.D. research, I work with Prof. Mark Pankow in the area of high-strain rate testing and micromechanics of nonwoven composites. I received my MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Akron (Akron, OH) in 2018, working with Prof. Kwek-Tze Tan in the area of impact and the post-impact response of composite structures in extreme environments. I have received my B.Sc degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Khartoum (Khartoum, Sudan) in 2014.
