Optical Imaging System Development and Instrumentation: optical-resolution photoacoustic microscopy, optical coherence tomography, multi-modal optical coherence photoacoustic endoscopic imaging.

Laser-tissue Interactions and Tissue Optical Clearing: optical spectroscopy and tissue optical property, optical clearing effects and mechanisms, high sensitivity and specificity detection, structure and functional imaging.

Development Molecular Imaging Contrast Agents: optical imaging contrast agent synthesis and modification, early-stage diseases (such as breast cancer, melanoma, colon cancer) diagnosis, treatment monitoring, clinical translation.
