Biography :

1. 3 years postdoctoral research in lipidomics, with focus on synthesis of lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC)- eicosapentanoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), feeding the mouse and rat models, analysis of brain lipids, neurotransmitters and behavioural studies.

2. 12 years of pre-doctoral research in lipid biochemistry, with focus on synthesis of diacylglycerol oil and structured lipids, feeding the dietary lipids to mouse, rat and rabbit models, analysis of lipid profile, biochemical parameters and molecular markers. 

3. Experience includes western blotting, ELISA, Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS), High Performance Liquid chromatography (HPLC), Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC), primary and bone marrow macrophages isolation and cell culture techniques.

4. Experienced in grants and manuscripts writing, mentoring the graduate students.
