Biography :

Dr. W. Tang graduated with a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology and Molecular Biology from the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. Tang is a Professor in the College of Horticulture and Gardening, Yangtze University. He has published 96 research papers and review articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and 27 book chapters in the field of Biotechnology and Molecular Biology. He is the editor and co-editor of 4 books in Genetics and Genomics. Dr. Tang’s specific area of research includes: (1) Molecular mechanism of ERF/AP2 transcriptional factors in plant stress tolerance; (2) Mechanisms that regulate shoot morphogenesis; and (3) Functional genomics of wood quality and properties.
