Biography :

Dr. Komal Mehta is currently working as a Deputy Director Innovation & Research, Krishna Centre of Innovation & Research; Professor, PhD supervisor & HOD, Civil Engineering Department, KSET , Drs. Kiran and Pallavi Patel Global Unversity , KPGU, Vadodara, Gujarat. She is appointed as Ph.D Guide in Gujarat Technological University since year 2015. She has rich academic & research experience of more than 18 years including teaching Undergraduate & Post graduate students.

She has filed six patents and contributed ten technical books published by international publication of Germany. She has more than 30 research papers in her credit published in peer reviewed journals. She is editor / reviewer in more than 10 international journals including Science Direct. She also worked as reviewer in international book publication house.

Her area of interest for research is Nano Technology, Treatment & Reuse for water & Wastewater Engineering , Reverse Osmosis, solid waste management etc. She is guiding PhD student and also has guided students on various projects in field of environmental Engineering & Nano technology. For contribution in higher education and research, she has received Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam life time achievement award in 2019. She is also awarded as best teacher from ITM Universe in 2013, 2016, and 2019. For contribution in higher education, she was awarded by Governor Shri Om prakash Kohlihji in April, 2019. She has conducted six national level two days seminar and conferences in the field of Nano Technology, one of the areas of research of her interest. She is honoured with crepitates of research cycle by Elsevier. In addition to that she received various certificates of MOOC / NTPEL in her credit. She is also a member of various professional bodies like Institute of Engineers, Indian Environmental Association, Indian water works association and many more.
